How to Tag Bookmarks Using Mozilla Firefox

By

In this short tutorial we shall go through the process of tagging a bookmark in the Mozilla Firefox web browser.

Lets kick start the process:

1. To bookmark, type your web address in the address bar and click on the star icon on the right side of the address bar.

2. Now go to the bookmarked site. The white(clear) star turns yellow when you bookmark a site so it should be right now.

3. Click the yellow star once. A pop-up window will appear that says "Edit This Bookmark" where you can edit the name, folder and tags.

4. Now in the tags field , type in a list of tags you want associated with this new tag(if it is more than one tag, use commas to separate them) for example when i bookmark http://www.hubpages.com i might use articles, hubs, writer (See pic below).

See all 2 photos

If you wish to use previously used tags click on the down arrow next the tags field( see pic below)

Now , try to type in your Mozilla firefox address bar one of the tags i.e. articles and witness the magic

Enjoy
