What is the meaning of lol,omg,lmao,wtf,thx,ty,rofl, brb, afk,np and other chat words
77I believe you have encountered slang and acronyms such as lol,omg,thx,wtf,lmao e.t.c on blogs, chat, email, image boards, text messeges, forums, e.t.c. but dont know what the heck these mean.Well in this work, i will list down some of these mysterious twisters and there meaning.
Lets start:

I learned a lot from this hub and have always wondered what some of these abbreviations mean. For instance, I wasn't sure if LOL was a lot of love or laughing out loud. And I definitely never heard of Lshccomnaiweda which made me laugh when I read its meaning. Thanks for sharing this info.

This is very useful, voted way up!! I knew most of them from little computer family members sharing this lingo with me, but not all of it. They just say, oh she's an old lady and laugh.
